Pitch HearstLab TX Recap

HearstLab, one of the most active investors in women-led companies worldwide, is on a mission to close the gender gap in venture capital funding. Hosted here in San Antonio, the pitch day held at the Tobin was a huge success. Three founders were awarded $100,000 to further their vision: Founder & Co-CEO Caitlin Kelly of EZ Newswire, Co-Founder & CEO Lizzy Kolar of Scope Zero, Co-Founder & CEO Samantha Lee of Meili Technologies. 

Since its inception, HearstLab has invested in over 60 exclusively women-led companies, collectively valued at nearly $2.5 billion today.  

Looking ahead, HearstLab is continuing to scale its investment efforts and expand its reach to support women entrepreneurs and leaders worldwide, with upcoming events planned for Madrid, NYC, and more in 2024.

We are excited about the opportunity to forge more partnerships like HearstLab in the coming year to foster a strong sense of community in this thriving and unique city we call home. Additionally, we are always seeking to continue building relationships with business owners like you who share our passion for community and want to join our efforts.
